Online monitoring & control for ozonation systems

ATi’s Dissolved Ozone Transmitter is the ideal choice for on-line water quality monitoring and control of ozonation systems. Capable of measuring DO3 concentrations as low as 0-200 ppb full scale, the system provides the sensitivity needed for demanding applications such as pharmaceutical grade water or semiconductor wash water. And with the standard 0-2 ppm range, the monitor is ideally suited to water bottling systems or municipal water treatment Even high range applications requiring 0-20 or 0-200 ppm can be easily accommodated. 

Utilizing a highly selective polarographic membraned sensor, dissolved ozone can be monitored interference-free, with little maintenance. There are no moving parts and what little maintenance is required can be done in just a few minutes. Installation is simple and you can be up and running in a few hours. Available in loop-powered or battery operated portable versions, the Q45H/64 is well suited for almost any DO3 measurement requirement.

Measuring Dissolved Oxygen in water and treatment to maintain the correct levels is crucial within a variety of water treatment applications as it can affect quality, regulatory compliance and process control. Dissolved Oxygen water quality monitoring is critical for aeration system process control.

Monitoring Dissolved Oxygen and the temperature of the source water can provide early warning for seasonal rise in manganese concentration. High levels of DO accelerates corrosion in water pipes, whereas low levels can cause an increase in ferrous iron concentration, resulting in discoloration at the tap when water is aerated.

Dissolved Oxygen monitoring is critical for aeration system process control. ATI’s Model Q46D Dissolved Oxygen Monitor is designed to provide reliable oxygen measurement and help reduce operating costs. Two types of sensing technologies are available for use with the Q46D system: Membraned Electrochemical and Optical (fluorescence). Both sensors will provide reliable long-term performance with minimal maintenance. No hardware modifications are required to change from one sensor type to the other. The monitor can be configured for AC or DC power supplies, and a portable battery-powered unit is available to meet a variety of monitoring needs. When process conditions require frequent sensor cleaning, our unique Q-Blast Auto-Cleaner can be used to keep the system operating nearly maintenance free. This time-proven system has been instrumental in providing years of worry free operation.
