Dynasonics^® Ultrasonic meters measure flow rate by propagating ultrasound waves into liquid-filled pipes and measuring the reflections. With either transit time or Doppler technology, these clamp-on ultrasonic meters reside outside the pipe, providing flexibility across a wide range of pipe sizes, no pressure head loss, no contact with internal liquid and no moving parts to maintain.

The Dynasonics^® TFX-500w transit time ultrasonic flow meter measures the volumetric flow of clean water in pipes 10 in. or smaller. Its clamp-on design allows the meter to be installed without cutting or tapping the pipe.
