Dynasonics® Ultrasonic meters measure flow rate by propagating ultrasound waves into liquid-filled pipes and measuring the reflections. With either transit time or Doppler technology, these clamp-on ultrasonic meters reside outside the pipe, providing flexibility across a wide range of pipe sizes, no pressure head loss, no contact with internal liquid and no moving parts to maintain.

The Dynasonics® TFX-500w transit time ultrasonic flow meter measures the volumetric flow of clean water in pipes 10 in. or smaller. Its clamp-on design allows the meter to be installed without cutting or tapping the pipe.
Key ApplicationsAdditional Information:
When Properly calibrated, flow meters can assure the right amount of product is delivered so suppliers don’t run the risk of missed revenue or overcharging customer
Increase Production YieldsTimely calibrations help detect and adjust for instrument degradation, while usage data can head off batch overdosing, wasted product, and delayed shipments.
Avoid Unscheduled DowntimeRoutine calibration can detect potential problems early, allowing needed maintenance to be scheduled before a measurement issue occurs.
Maintain ComplianceScheduled calibration helps validate meter performance through documented evidence required by many ISO 9000 processes or regulatory agencies.
Proven Calibration SolutionsPrimary Standard Liquid CalibrationsOur blend of solvent and oil simulates exact liquid viscosity, and meets both end user and OEM production requirements.
Secondary Standard Water CalibrationsA low-cost traceable water calibration available for industrial meters requiring K Factor or 3-point calibrations.
Onsite CalibrationsSecondary standard master meters installed in existing piping allow calibration of meters using the actual process fluid without being removed.
Calibrator CertificationsNVLAP Accredited Calibration Certificates for COX 311 Series (time-weigh calibrators) and third-party positive displacement calibrators.
Research and Development TestingOur calibration lab can also support research and development projects by providing reliable data on product or component performance.
